Experience
Since 2010 she has worked freelance as an interpreter and translator. The work covers interpreting, sales and marketing coordination, and VIP protocol. In French, German, and Korean she supports and advises Korean companies. She interprets at exhibitions, meets overseas buyers, and consults on market research and localization. She introduces food, design, and household goods to the European market. She plans marketing messages for the local culture and adjusts brand positioning. She interprets at official events in Europe, including field research, training, and court proceedings. She has led invitation programs for executives of global companies visiting Korea. She arranged schedules, cultural visits, and business meetings for company presidents and decision-makers. The work went beyond guiding and shaped a first impression of Korea. She invited and hosted Albert Biermann, former president of BMW M, and that visit later led to partnerships in Korea. After these VIP visits she has also connected other global figures and companies with the Korean market.
