The Korean School of Romania is an official educational institution registered as a Romanian non-profit organization (ONG). Centered in Bucharest, it has long been a sturdy pillar of ‘heritage education,’ teaching Korean language, Korean history, and traditional culture so that children of overseas Koreans can build a sound identity. Alongside the spread of the K-Wave (Hallyu), it also runs level-based Korean classes for Romanian teens who want to learn the language. With a strong local learning environment and passionate teachers, it is more than language study—a top community space for living Korean culture through Hangul Day events, Dokdo Day events, traditional games and more.
